I just have to tell you about this awesome photographer who recently did me proud with my passport photo - bit vein of me I know but figured I'm going to looking at 'that' photo for the next 10 years -I was delighted with the resulting image taken. I also had a chance to have a peek at his portfolio and it turns out he's very versatile individual, who sets himself very high standards and has a great work ethic in that no job is too small or too big. So if you want to put your project in the hands of a consummate professional who has bags of patience and is very flexible over timings, where you want your photos done etc. etc. then Martin Lea is his name and if you're interested then check out his website: http://www.martinlea.co.uk

Martin came to our family party which was held in our house and garden on a warm summer evening in June.

He got a large number of great images of guests both in groups and more casual photos. He got on well with everybody and many have said what a lovely reminder of the event it gave them. Images were available within a couple of days via a dropbox link which we emailed to partygoers.

Thanks Martin, until next time!

I would also highly recommend Martin Lea. He visited our house for a family photo shoot. We were so pleased with the results. It was very relaxed and Martin captured us just as we had hoped. He was happy to be directed by us but also had great ideas of his own for shots. We had a 4 month old baby and a puppy which did not phase Martin at all!

We have subsequently used Martin for a 40/70th birthday party and a christening, with equally pleasing results.

We found Martin's recommendation on the East Dulwich Forum. We were looking for a photographer for our family gathering to celebrate my mother in law's 90th birthday. Martin came round in advance to see what would suit and then smoothly organised us all into a really wonderful portfolio of mixed family photos on the day. A great, stress free experience with some lovely photos to cherish at the end of it.

This is another recommendation for Martin! I needed a high quality professional photograph taken for work and Martin proved himself to be an incredibly responsive and flexible photographer who clearly cares very much about his work but is friendly with it too, making me feel at ease which is not easy to do as I hate having my photograph taken!
Highly recommend Martin! I needed photos for a couple of projects I am involved in but I don?t like having my photo taken so wasn?t looking forward to it. Martin was highly professional, put my at my ease and the whole process was a lot more relaxed than I had expected. I?m delighted with the photos ? I think Martin took more good photos of me than already exist to date!

Thanks for all your great feedback. It's always nice to hear positive reviews on my work.

I really appreciate you guys taking the time out to post on here too :)

We can highly recommend Martin.

We ran a choral evening for the Dulwich Festival recently and Martin came along to take pictures for us and another choir on the night.

We was very easy to deal with and got on with the job on the evening without any prompting. In fact he covered much more than we had hoped and the final images he supplied were fantastic, despite dealing with some tricky lighting in the venue. You can see some of the images at the following link https://www.tongueandgroove.london/who

We would absolutely employ Martin again when we need some more pictures and strongly suggest you do the same.

We wanted some family portrait photography done and Martin was very good in discussing the available options. On the day of the (outdoor) shoot, we were not sure the weather would hold (it didn't) and Martin kindly arranged to reschedule. The 2nd shoot was great and he has managed to capture some excellent photos of us all. Would highly recommend and definitely use again.

Martin took portrait photographs for my choir as well as shots of our summer concert. The pictures were great - no mean feat when trying to organise 40+ people for a group portrait!. The concert shots were varied and gave a good sense of the choir?s ?personality? and also the occasion. We?re delighted, and have already used some on our website and on social media.

    • Strange isn’t it…..other European countries s actually come up with solutions to house homeless people, which are pod structure, use of office blocks, etc. homeless are provided with thermals, warm sleeping bag and tent or pop up tent plus tech friendly clothing which means they are warm in extreme conditions. Us in UK? Nothing but chuckinto house of multiple occupation, which is usually not warm and not all have mould, but some do.. live in one room even if you are a family with good only knows what other sort of people…  not referring to ethinicity here but more along the lines of mental health problems, drugs, alcoholics. Single and families all in one property. Or if you are one of the lucky ones, into a hotel you go…   Why don’t we as a nation claw back more money in the form of tax  or avoidance avoidance, off shore accounts or other ways that rich or investors do buck the system….
    • Hello! I’m considering buying the demise for the loft-space above my flat (facing the classic renovate or move scenario for an additional bedroom or 2). Has anyone had recent experience of buying the demise from Southwark? Interested to know how they’re handling the premium/valuation.  thanks!
