Recommendation: Bradley carpet cleaner

I wanted to pass on a recommendation for Bradley who did an amazing job cleaning carpets when we moved into a new house. He also rejuvenated an old rug that had seen better days.

He's a lovely guy, reasonably priced and can usually fit you in very quickly.

I believe he also does window cleaning and pest control - a man of many talents!

His number is 07946 328565.

Just had Bradley around for cleaning hall and stair carpet - efficient and very helpful. Asked him to give me a quote for cleaning a sofa which he did and was reasonable so he did this as well whilst on the premises. Even though the carpet is still damp I can see the difference.

And I can advise how to save money. The best option is to clean the carpet yourself. To do this, you just need to buy a good and proven shampoo. I share with a shampoo selection https://spotcarpetcleaners.com/reviews/best-carpet-shampoo/. Apply for 15-20 minutes, then brush and carpet as good as new.

    • Seems to be back on now although pressure reduced especially for hot water via boiler. Hopefully I can have a shower in the morning.
    • It’s far too hot. Dogs should not be out and you’re right to post this.
    • Agree that you have to be so careful dogs in this heat… but please dont judge so quickly.  Its one thing if you see a dog at midday being thrown the ball endlessly, but if you see a dog en route / somewhere - You dont know if that dog was being walked to the vet for an emergency appointment.. or taken to a friend’s house that is cooler etc.  And if they live in a flat, they might desperately need to be taken out for a quick pee / poo !
    • I know,  absolutely crazy.  A dog has never died because it didn't have a walk, but dogs do die if walked in this heat. Perhaps the owners should put on a thick fur coat, take their shoes off and jog round the pavements, and see how that feels! 🤬
