(With apologies to those who find threads like this irritating.)

You're obviously local so I hope you read this.

Earlier this afternoon you let your dog (a cockapoo perhaps? Light coloured) cock its leg over some flowers for sale next to AJ Farmer's.

The flower seller didn't see you as she was reading something and you didn't tell her, apologise or offer to pay for what she now can't sell. You obviously saw and you looked around to see if anyone else noticed before walking quickly away to meet what looked like your husband and children.

Pretty disgusting all round.

She looked like a fairly typical Dulwich mother so presumably the kind of person who would claim to value manners and responsible behaviour. Think that was part of what annoyed me! Dangers of sterotyping perhaps.

If the flower seller was unaware of this heinous crime she might well have sold the tainted bunch and a customer purchased the cockatoo pee bouquet in all innocence.

    • I'd try the Dulwich Village or "North Dulwich Triangle" forums for more local knowledge but I don't think those areas compare to Abeville Road at all. It will be quite a different lifestyle.
    • Yes, Dulwich Village commands a premium and justifiably so given access to the City via London Bridge plus the top rate schools within walking distance.  The bus services are really good also - 37, 42 and P4. The P4 is useful for connecting to the Victoria line at Brixton. It's worthwhile waiting for the right property. I know of one which will be coming on the market in a few weeks - 4 bedrooms and south facing garden circa £2.5m.
    • This is an utterly foolish and alarmist statement, completely at odds with reality.
    • I realise this is highly unlikely, but if anyone has a colour laser printer in very good working order, I'd be delighted to take it off your hands!
