What's happened at dkh school

Just behind park by dkh adventure playground when couple of police arrived with a women heading into The wooded area, shortly followed by more policeman. When we were walking down to Sainsbury's 4 more walked past and said they were going towards the school and then they walked in the direction. Anyone know what's happened ?

Maybe they're looking to arrest someone for putting up those bloody annoying estate agent signs advertising their school fair.

It wasn't anything at the school, I think that someone had reported seeing someone with a knife near the adventure playground.

It seems that there was a lot of rumour swirling around amongst a group of kids that afternoon, and there is nothing to suggest that there was anyone in the area with a knife at all.

😉 The estate agent themselves are far more prominent than the fair....cheap advertising for them, and an eyesore for residents, especially when keep up so long after the fair has finished.

Exactly. I genuinely think they should be banned. Surely it's not right to be allowed to stick up an advertising hoarding wherever you want.

The regulations give them deemed consent for a limited period, just like standard estate agent signs. Classs 3(D). Here's the bit from the guidance booklet at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/outdoor-advertisements-and-signs-a-guide-for-advertisers.

Schools get ?10 per board. 50 boards = ?500. That's a lot of pencils and whiteboard pens - which kids get through incredibly quickly. In the current climate of cuts, schools need all the cash they can get. Don't be so curmudgeonly.
