Do you mean Spiral: The Butcher of Valette from April/May this year? I have started watching this (recorded it at the time and am finally working my way through - worth sticking with) or is there a new Spiral?

I liked "The Butcher of Valette " so much I bought a boxed DVD set of the first 2 series of " Spiral ": fabulous stuff !

Yes it was whatisname - the guy who worked for the dead girl's father!
