nutty
The many many other estate agents threads on this site, particularly those detailing Foxtons marketing bumph, made me think of starting a thread of amusing and misleading quotes from estate agents trying to make properties sounds perfect...This, from a recently advertised house details in ED ....The property is situated in a sought after residential road bordering on East Dulwich Station, Lordship Lane and Dulwich Village and park.Impressive (if impossible) location for a house. Seen any others like this out there? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1593-great-ed-estate-agent-misleading-quotes/ Share on other sites

Mark
It was suggested to me by an estate agent that there might be a tube line extension to East Dulwich with the station entrance on Goose Green, but it wouldn't be started for another 7 years or so. That was 6 years ago so maybe, just maybe... Brendan
What I don't understand is why someone would think that would be a positive thing for the area. :-SAnyway I guess having some kind of idea about local ground conditions is not necessary for these ?people? Loz
The tube line was going to happen as part of the East London Line extensions, but then they changed the plans and it will now go through Denmark Hill.
