Just had Jack in to do awkward bits of bathroom and whole of living room. Lovely job. Excellent finish, nice flexibility on when work done, lots of energy and easy company to have in the house. Even went hunter gathering and provided a pregnant lady with a McDonalds (not part of usual service and this thread in no way endorses Ronald's cooking, just the plastering!)

Hi, I would like to put in another recommendation for Jack and his team from JH Plastering Ltd - 07877805665.

We have a condensation problem in our bedroom in the winter time which has been resolved now.

Jack and his team finished the job of plastering the walls along with all the other bits like removing and replacing the skirting, coving and radiator in 2 days which was on the weekend as well. They were very good, efficient, reasonable and left the place all neat and tidy after they were done. I would definitely use Jack again and would recommend him to anyone.

Just had Jack Hart (07877805665) do some plastering for me, the plasterer I had lined up let me down last minute and Jack managed to fit me in around doing his own extension and other jobs he had on. Really appreciate the effort. the job was well done, very tidy and and reasonably priced. Very happy!

I'd like to whole heartedly recommend Jack Hart from JH Plastering (07877805665) who has just plastered my whole kitchen and completed an excellent job. Jack is an approachable, friendly and reliable guy who is extremely helpful with advice and guidance I required, especially when we found asbestos that needed removing. Jack went the extra mile for me and fitted additional plaster board to help me out with the asbestos issue at no extra cost. Jack is also very tidy and reasonably priced, and fitted me into his busy schedule when we had a delay because of the asbestos issue,

Just wanted to give a recommendation for Jack Hart who recently did some plastering in my house.

He did a great job in record time, sent 4 people to fit me in to his busy schedule, was pleasant easy to work with and worked their socks off to get the job done. He was also very tidy which isn't always the case with plasterers!

Very happy with the results and price was great too.

We would also recommend Jack Hart at J H Plastering Services (07877 805665).

He recently did some internal plastering for us and, separately, sorted out a damp issue in our downstairs loo. The quality of the work is excellent, his prices are very reasonable, and he's a really nice guy to deal with, too - very responsive and proactive about getting the job done.

Another recommendation for Jack Hart, who has popped up quite a few times on the forum.

We asked Jack to install insulation boards, plaster three rooms and fit skirting to our newly acquired home. He did a brilliant job - his team worked hard and we're really pleased with the finish. I was a tad nervous (we were hiring a lot of contractors to refurbish the whole flat) but dealing with Jack was a complete pleasure. I can honestly say he went above and beyond including advising us on how to deal with condensation damp, helping us remove bulky waste and generally being available whenever I called with yet another query. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him. His number is: 07877805665 and you can find him at JHPlastering services ltd.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to give me a shout.

I'd like to recommend Jack from J H Plastering (07877805665) for floor sanding/plastering/any other building work you'd like done in the SE London area. I'm 8 months pregnant and they did everything we asked quickly, very well and accommodated our constantly changing requests. They knocked a wall through and sanded our floor within a couple of weeks for a very reasonable price. Really nice guys and I couldn't recommend them more.

Another recommendation from me for Jack Hart. He has just finished plastering our kitchen, having taken out and bricked up an old window - it all looks smooth as silk and has left the place very tidy. He has also taken up all the floorboards, relaid and sanded/filled/varnished them up beautifully. Really delighted with his work and helpful attitude. PM if you want to see any photos.

Cheers,

Righty

I'd like to recommend Jack Hart who plastered two rooms in our house near West Dulwich (main bedroom and sitting room). He boarded up the ceilings, patched big gaps and skimmed plaster all walls and ceiling. He also did some damp proof injection in the sitting room which had a historical damp problem. He's very professional, takes good care of details, clean and tidy and with competitive prices... plus he's a very nice guy too!

As someone who recognises the value of quality workmanship and the correct attitude I would, as a fellow service provider, like to add my recommendation for Jack Hart. Jack is always the person I put forward when my own Clients require plaster or build services. Having only ever received positive feedback on his work, I highly recommend him and echo what previous posters have said: Jack offers a professional, competitively priced service and is a genuinely nice guy. It is honestly always a pleasure to share a Client with him!

Thanks for the great comments, I do offer a professional service and that is why I like to work with other professional trades men like yourself John! my company JH Plastering services have some reviews on the EDF, we do also work outside of Dulwich and we have over 30 reviews on my checkatrade account: https://www.checkatrade.com/trades/JHPlasteringServicesLtd/. My contact number is 07877805665 and our website is www.plastering-damp.co.uk.

I can also highly recommend Jack Hart. He sorted out some rising damp in one of my kitchen walls last week. He was very prompt, extremely professional and very thorough for both the assessment and the works.

He was also very tidy and helpful, offering to come back and refit the kitchen cabinet if the decorator couldn't do it.

The price was very reasonable and the work done very efficiently.

Hi there,

I just wanted to recommend the lovely Jack to anyone experiencing issues with plaster and/or damp. I had re-occuring damp downstairs and some eye watering quotes from the usual surveyors in the thousands (and which involved removing tiles from the downstairs toilet etc.)

Jack instead suggested opting for a French drain as the paving stones outside were build up too high. His team were efficient and tidy and completed the job in a day.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend...

Anna

Highly recommend Jack Hart Plastering. Excellent, friendly and professional service, great value and quick and tidy in how he and his team work. He has recently completed replastering and damp proofing our en-suite bathroom which we have had problems with for years and has done a fantastic job from start to finish. Thanks Jack, we will be using you again in the future for any plastering needs!

Another recommendation here for Jack Hart Plastering. I had Jack and his team recently complete some damp proofing, replastering and installing a french drain. They worked really hard and managed to get the job done in less time than I had thought it would take. There were friendly, approachable and extremely tidy. Their quote was competitive and honest - other quotes I had suggested work that was completely unnecessary. I would have no hesitation in using Jack's services again and wholeheartedly recommend him.
I highly recommend Jack Hart Plastering also. Jack and his team helped plaster and finish my kitchen walls in preparation for painting and tiling my new kitchen. They completed the job quickly and were very tidy. Jack is extremely friendly and approachable and I'll be using his team again in the future whenever I may need plastering or damp services. Thank you Jack!

    • bizarre responses from everyone but Cancerian 🤷🏾‍♀️ As an LL resident surely a perfectly normal enquiry in that one might wish to know who to look out for if lawless/feral kids are wreaking havoc? any distinguishing marks on the perpetrators? presumably the objection is that a physical description might reveal the alleged culprits as non-white? (nothing else makes sense with this bourgeois over-sensitivity). same botched thinking that causes police descriptions of suspects on the loose to omit this info  (top way to protect the public / solve the crime) FYI i'm a mixed-race female and interested in THE TRUTH. hence, i want to protect myself & my family against criminals. so please DESCRIBE the physical appearance of criminals or suspected criminals to help to keep us safe. thankyou.  "underlying agenda... strange" 😂😂😂 strange agenda to wish to be safe in my community. well played 🤯   working the nightshift here & getting mildly obsessed/infuriated with the peculiar responses. someone please explain how wishing to be able to attempt to identify, physically, the perpetrator(s) of an alleged local assault is "strange", with an "agenda"? God help us. (wait... "God"? must be a far-right religious maniac) "Unless there were distinctive features such as unusual clothing, how is that going to identify them"... green & purple mohican with accompanying buffalo 🦬 horns through the nose might do it; or simply hairstyle, skin colour, sartorial outfit... 🤔 "and even if it did, what would be the point, without photographic evidence that they had done anything wrong?" eyewitness reports? 😏
    • Unless they were wearing school uniform with name tags otherwise children do change their clothes you know.
    • I'd also recommend Silvano for anyone in the area looking to learn automatic, having just passed first time with 5 minors. He's a very patient teacher and ensured I learned how to drive safely above all.
    • You don't need to do the research. I had to know the numbers as a TV buyer. I analysed the potential advertising revenue and Channel Four didn't cover their costs. They had some nice 'Channel Four' signs when someone hit the ropes but, In all honesty, a lot a potential revenue was lost because most old knackers were pissed off because they couldn't perve at Carol Vorderman on 'Countdown'.       Sorry, cross-post. I was replying to Malumbu. Give me a minute, if you will. I listened to the first two sessions (today) on TMS and popped down to the pub for the evening one.   I do miss the days of Peter West, Richie Benaud and Tom Graveney on BBC2.   But, the BBC are at least putting on 'Today At The Test' on at around 7pm instead of after midnight.   And it was on the 10pm news.
