I have conducted a scientific survey of the pots on this forum- this includes the full range of cat centred experience - Lost/Pregnant/Found/Aggressive etc

I have done a bit of number crunching, and was surprised to reach they following inescapable conclusion with a serioiusly high confidence level. I was so shocked, I ran the numbers through a monte carlo simulation and was presented the broadly the same results.fat tails aside, this was remarkable.

the results ?

The average cat owner seems to exhibit traits that resemble utter imbicility miuch of the time. Guardian readers show a similar correlation.

Yes, Shall we add more people on the list please and what about The Blues, Greens

and the Man U.. Manchester United.

I have my conclusion now and as an observer reader I would like to highlight

everyone on this thread are the same nobody is different.

I have to send message's to everyone to find out about people's personalities

what a disspointed conclusion.

I have a yellow card now so I am out.

So they?re an organic alternative to internet forums then.

I expect the psychology chapter on cat owners would be shorter than the one dog owners.

For who would want to own an animal incapable of spending less than ten minutes alone without sobbing into its chum bowl and cacking on the nearest rug?

but it's the birds I really hate

stupid, pointy-beaked little twats

like bedbugs and poverty, smoking and cancer, cats are always tightly correlated with the crushing loneliness of urban life and the substitution of a career for happiness. They may be morons, but they should be pitied not mocked.

Hmm and you must be...let's guess...Einstein? but then Einstein could spell (if you are going to call anyone an imbecile then at least spell the damn word right lol) and understood that any scientific process requires a 'control' and diligent, if not extensive statistical analysis to prove suggested theory.

But let's give you the benefit of the doubt and give your theory a whirl...

Am I a cat owner? Yes (so far so good)

Am I crushingly left lonely by urban life? Ask my ladies footy group? Do I stay home all day and reflect on how miserable living in an urban dwelling is? Do I heck!!!!! (theory starting to look a bit shaky now)

Have I substituted a career for happiness? I love the job I do....surely that's better than not loving the job you do? (definitely on the ropes)

Am I a moron? Is there even any point in answering that one?

Hmmm see what I mean?

    • Direct link (sorry duplicated!):  Today, more than 30 states from around the world will gather in Bogotá, Colombia, for the “Emergency Conference” to halt the Gaza genocide: the most ambitious multilateral response since Israel began its campaign of devastation two years ago. Bringing together a broad coalition of governments — from Algeria to Brazil, China to Spain, Indonesia to Qatar — the conference aims, in the words of Colombian President Gustavo Petro, “to move from condemnation to collective action.” At 10:30 Bogotá, 11:30 New York, 16:30 London and 17:30 Paris, we invite you to join this historic gathering's opening ceremony live from the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. You will hear testimony from Dr. Thaer Ahmed, who will recount his experience of working in Rafah and Khan Younis amidst Israel’s genocide. Rosa Yolanda Villavicencio, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, will detail her government’s concrete commitments to uphold international law. After she was sanctioned by the Trump administration, UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese will deliver a powerful message about the failure of the international system to protect the Palestinian people — and urge immediate and coordinated action by principled states. “Here in Bogotá, a growing number of states have the opportunity to break the silence and revert to a path of legality by finally saying: enough. Enough impunity. Enough empty rhetoric. Enough exceptionalism. Enough complicity,” Albanese will say. Today, the call from Bogotá will echo around the world. Join us. In solidarity,  The Progressive International Secretariat
