dc
Hamlet now five points clear having beaten Bognor Regis Town away in the top of the table 'six pointer' at the weekend. Icy wind down on the coast but well worth the trip - even though the famous Turner's pie shop was closed on Saturday afternoon.Away at Hendon tonight. mikeb
I'm enjoying this season's run of good form, hope it doesn't fizzle out.If the Hamlet do get promoted, would this mean they would need to make significant changes to the stadium or the way matches are held? e.g. due to more stringent rules. Still top of the league though. Not sure the division above requires significant change. Think there would need to be at least one further promotion (assuming they go up this year) before it becomes an issue at all. Not sure what division it is that drinking within sight of the pitch is forbidden and fans must be segregated. Those would be my major concerns. The price of success. There are a few good shops down there though and I can personally recommend Les's Organic Produce Store on the high street. His dwarf beans are to die for. citizenED
Just back from Hamlets where we saw a fabulous victory in the FA Trophy; 2 - 1 against Margate. Crowd of 1400. 0 - 1 down at half time, they came alive in the second half and deserved their two goals. Otta
It was a cracking win. Could feel the first goal coming. Well done to DHFC, who after being outplayed in the first half, came back strong and totally owned the game for the last 20 minutes or so.
