Alan Medic
I always thought that Wogan made the Eurovision worth watching. Those were the days my friend I thought they'd never end................. Guest
You're right there AM. It was the faint tone of affectionate irony and the meaning pauses that somehow made the blandness and waiting bearable. Peckhamgatecrasher
Oh dear, your mention of Ronco has just catapulted me back to the seventies and the purple satin hotpants with cross-over bib that I proudly wore. BTW - nothing wrong with tank tops - darling Donny wore one. They won it a few times, realised it cost too much to host and made sure they lost thereafter. That trend should be kept going with this years selection. I'll admit I haven't heard the song but I've seen those kids with that hair. Who'd vote for that? Alan Medic
Yes. I found this out on a tribute programme about Ted at Xmas. They showed old clips of the brothers pre contest playing with a ball in a swimming pool etc. The most shocking bit for me was that their sister who is married to my brother never mentioned it to him that Ted & Dougal were taking the piss out of her brothers in that episode. Family secret exposed I think. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/17237-eurovision/page/2/#findComment-435863 Share on other sites

Mick Mac
Am supporting Austria and Germany. Can't understand why France are favourites. If there are any tenors in ED they can tell us if that guy was any good, but for me its just not eurovision. PS: Where's Terry.
