"Oh dear, your mention of Ronco has just catapulted me back to the seventies and the purple satin hotpants with cross-over bib that I proudly wore. BTW - nothing wrong with tank tops - darling Donny wore one."

I believe Donny and family also used the superior 'bling' version of the buttoneer - the stud and rhinestone setter - on their brushed denim.

I don't think so. They won it a few times, realised it cost too much to host and made sure they lost thereafter. That trend should be kept going with this years selection. I'll admit I haven't heard the song but I've seen those kids with that hair. Who'd vote for that?

Yes, but they won it because they LOVE it.

Yes. I found this out on a tribute programme about Ted at Xmas. They showed old clips of the brothers pre contest playing with a ball in a swimming pool etc. The most shocking bit for me was that their sister who is married to my brother never mentioned it to him that Ted & Dougal were taking the piss out of her brothers in that episode. Family secret exposed I think.

    • A quick assessment on having a barter scheme amongst the community. An exchange of goods and services may be really helpful during these difficult times.    I wonder if it’s something that someone would be willing to set up separately and link to the forum? Or perhaps  an additional aspect of the forum itself if it was easy to include? I don’t have IT knowledge to set this up unfortunate, but I do have skills that I could offer. From past experience, it would probably work best as a direct exchange rather than coupon credit.    I may be flaunting the rules by posting on this twice, admin please feel free to delete one if this is the case.

Thank you for stepping up.   whilst I’m here, I was thinking it would be a good idea to have a barter scheme amongst the community. an exchange of goods and services may be really helpful during these difficult times.    wonder if it’s something that someone would be willing to set up separately and link to the forum?
