I've just cut some sage from the garden and I'm going to fry it up in butter and olive oil with some freshly chopped garlic and red chilli. Then squeeze in some lemon juice, S & P to taste and mix in some fresh pasta. Parmegianno and basil to finish. Takes 10 mins.

tonight is defrosting 12 chicken wings from (inserts name of reputable butcher here*)

Then I'm blitzing 3 Scotch bonnets, 1 habenero and 1 serrano chili, some passata, spring onion, salt, pepper, garlic and a dash of (praise the Lord!) dragon's blood sauce, mix it up, oven bake at high temp, crips on the grill - total time 30 mins....

(*have tried "packaged" wings from an assortment of supermarkets, high and low. Fatty shite the lot of it. And very expensive in some of them too...)

Tonight was well baked potato's (crunchy skins with i=oil & salt) with cheese & sour cream topping + salad. Last night - spaghetti puttanesca - olives, capers, garlic, toms & parsley with pasta, tomorrow poached salmon & pots & veg. We like to plan the week in Marmora!

Bloody hell Anna - how long do you work for? I saw you on the train yesterday morning at 7.50ish! Ask for a pay rise.

I try and cook a big meal over the weekend and then freeze portions for later mid-week eating. I had home made shepherds-pie (organic shepherds from Borough Market) and a banana.

I thought I recognised you! Sorry I didn't say hello :-$

Bog standard orange pumpkin, bought from sainsburys when I went to get batteries for my wireless controller; then thought...hmmm casserole.

Lot's of smoked chipotle in there too (the casserole, not the controller), I mean what doesn't it go with?

Yes, even Vanilla Risotto with Rhubarb compote!!

    • Hello everyone, We have lost our wonderful moggie, Cookie.  She's been missing for over a week now and was lost around the back of our house on rail track land around Croxted Road/Turney Road junction. Please do keep an eye out for her and if you see her please let us know urgently as she isn't familiar with the area at all, we are very worried.  She has a microchip (with my brother's contact details) She's black with ginger/brown markings, very distinctive. If you have had sightings of her or seen her at anytime please let do let me know, Henna 07941 047094 If you could post on your local/street groups too, I'd be very grateful. Thank you!
