Which has a nicer choice of food for a nice Saturday dinner?

I've had a pretty poor dinner at the Florence recently - though the complaint was handled well by the management. It's just too busy on weekend evenings.

Had a lovely lunch at the Regent a couple of weeks back - it suggested some real thoughtfulness in the kitchen - so would definitely try their dinner.

Regent is more of a gastropub type menu with prices to match. Florence good pub grub, so horses for courses.

Agree that Regent is better but with a price to match. I'm not convinced the quality quiiiite matches the price, but it is a damn fine sunday roast, and the mint sauce is really good.

For a nice Saturday dinner, the ambience of the PR probably wins - the florence gets too busy for a "dining" experience on a Saturday night

I agree with Mockney re: PR's roast dinner but in truth the Florence's roast beef brisket is my goto sunday roast of choice.
