Local volunteering opportunities over Christmas and New Year

Does anyone know of local organisations that need volunteers? The one I used to help is no longer operating. Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks, but it looks like ongoing volunteering rather than over Christmas so will keep looking.

Crisis have lots of volunteering opportunities accross their centres over Christmas week.

Crisis are normally over subscribed and places fill up well before Christmas

Thanks. A couple of people have suggested Brixton Soup Kitchen so will give them a call.

A friend of mine (who volunteers in North London) was saying that Crisis tend to be oversubscribed for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing day, but the setup day (tomorrow) and the rest of Christmas week tend to be less popular for volunteers.

I think All Saints Peckham are doing a Christmas lunch and may need volunteers
