where can I dispose of clothes & shoes to be recycled?

Where can I dispose of clothes & shoes to be recycled? They are not good enough for charity shops or friends. Nothing on the Southwark website. Thanks!

Most charity shops will recycle clothes and shoes they don't deem fit for sale.

All gets bagged up and sold by weight.

The council recycle centre just off Old Kent Road, you have to be a south resident and take id with you

Depending on where you are some local recycle bins are also often placed on the street too... try calling the council to find locations.

a homeless charity may take them. There is something happening in Brixton over the festive break, someone posted about it here last week. I am sure they would take them.

There is a recycle bin on the cornor of lordship lane and barry road.

Shoes - bins outside Biff in Dulwich Village, or dry cleaners on Half Moon Lane

Clothes - H&M in Brixton have bins by the tills and will give you a ?5 voucher for every bag of clothes/textiles you leave for recycling

There is a green clothes and shoes recycling bin on Lordship Lane in front of row of shops ( vets surgery, Tile Giant 517 Lordship lane, etc)
