Hello! I am fortunate enough to have fridays off work to look after my two energetic boys. We try and do something active outdoors or in a class somewhere in the morning but i am finding that any classes/activities we do are either more geared to and/or more populated by the 1-3y old(s) and I would like, if possible, for my almost 4y old to have someone his own age (ie going to school in September) to chat and imaginary play with.

If anyone has any recommendations of activities/classes that they go to with their pre-schoolers on a friday that i can also take my almost, but mobile, 2y old, to mix things up, that would be much appreciated!

thanks very much

Nature Play south East London meet in a Friday morning in Dulwich woods.

You can search and find their Facebook groups and sign up as places are limited this week.an absolutely terrific age group for mixed ages and abilities - I have a three year age gap so feel your pain!

    • i think I have seen that animal rescue charities can use old towels/sheets etc. Can anyone give me the address of one that I can donate them to - or do they collect?
    • I'd take some stool samples, keep them in the fridge, book a GPs appointment, and ask for them to be analysed. Kids are sick from time to time.  We all were.  We all are occasionally.  Unless there is a serious outbreak of a bug that can potentially hospitalise a lot of people, then public health will not get involved. For your own benefit you can always visit the cafe and check out their scores on the doors food safety rating and if they are not displaying one, question why. A few years ago there was a large e coli outbreak at the Glastonbury festival, cows graze the land and some festival goers were not being too hygienic.  A reminder to us all to wash our hands etc.  with COVID this should be second nature

    • Anyone know what the V7 local is turning into? Saw some guys painting it a teal colour last night which made me think it’s probably turning into another Truepennys haha - hopefully something more interesting
