.. seems a strange place to start a thread, but since I had my second baby in February I have been thinking I should really make a will. In the past I have had some invaluable advice from the EDF, so if anyone has any experience or thoughts on the subject, I would really appreciate it. Can anyone recommend somewhere to go to draw up the will? Cheers!

If you have a straightforward set up - ie, no previous marriages/one property etc etc, then there is a will kit you can get - from WHSmiths, and probably other places. This works well for uncomplicated 'estates'. It explains all the legal jargon, advice on guardians etc etc.
I can thoroughly recommend Camilla Judge www.willwritingandestateplanning.com she did ours recently and was very friendly, helpful and professional. She comes to your house to discuss the will and find out what you'd like included and then comes back a week later with it drawn up for you to sign - she does evening appointments too so very convenient.
We used Galzer Delmar - we did mirror wills. To be fair it took longer for is to talk tofamily about who would look after the chidlren than it did to talk to the parents... they also put us on a regiter so anyone can find where your will is held = saves then apin my dad went through wen his friend died and next of kin was his mum who had dementia!! He phoned about 40 solicitors trying to find the right one but they can't divulge if it their client for confidentiality reasons.... funnily enough, we joined the register ?20/person but think probably mone well spent

    • You don't need a gym to lose 10kg. Get a set of dumbbells and maybe a resistance band, find a HIIT channel you like on youtube and workout in your room, eat clean and go out every day. £115/mo is ridiculous. I thought they were supposed to be about £20 to £30 and most people give up come February anyway.
    • Point taken..I go 3-4 times a week and have done every week for several years however £115 a month is still a lot of money for many people (myself included) for a 'non essential' One can if one wishes excersise by running or Cycling, swimming once in a while. Gym membership IS a luxury...
    • Tawny owls are hooting in Dawsons Heights very near me. But very elusive birds. Sadly now on the amber list.  I have heard the owls every night for the past couple of weeks  It is good to know they are here. They are quite loud so I think they are very near. I have never seen an owl in the wild before and wish I  could  see them.
