nikki73
Hi I am dropping my daughter off at my parents in a couple of weeks time. She doesn't see them regularly as they live abroad but she gets on fine with them. I'm spending 6 days there settling her in and then she'll be there on her own for 10 days until her father picks her up. She's very independent but getting more anxious on the rare occasions we get a sitter or someone other than us picks her up from nursery. Is there anything I can do to help her settle? planning on taking a few favourite toys/books and will start talking to her about the trip now. Also any views on whetherskyoing is a good idea or do we risk upsetting her? Probably worrying for nothing: she'll probably fine and not us here!
