Hello,

We moved to Dulwich this week and I'm now trying to find out what local clubs/activities are on for toddlers during the week. I realise some places will be closed for the holidays but could any mums/nannies give me a few ideas for daytime activities??! We have a son who is 3 1/2 and a daughter who is just 2. We live in Dulwich village.

I've already seen some music classes on at St Barnabas church hall and am going to check out the library but any other ideas? I'll obviously do an internet trawl but thought it was probably worth asking on here!

Thank you!

I have a 2 and a bit yr old - we like:

Ruby Rhymes up at Herne Hill baptist church at top of red post hill - mondays and drop in

Playgroups at St Faiths and Copleston on Mondays and Tuesdays respectively

Swimming classes at Dulwich Pool

Toddler World at Crystal Palace

Tumbletots at St Faiths

Little kickers on saturday mornings (daddy does it!)

Keep meaning to give Diddidance in East Dulwich a go. And Rugger Beez is also on saturday mornings in Belair Park. Tried Little Bubbles which is on in East Dulwich but my son wasn't a fan - but it was ok! There is also Gymboree in Herne Hill and the playgroup at St Barnabus. And TIn Pan Annie music at St Barnabus too? Have a look in SE21 magazine for a good list. Whippersnappers have set up a base in Dulwich Park - mean to go and see. Much closed until september though and some of the sign up stuff gets full pretty quickly.

    • I think giving toiletries, as well as food, is a great idea.  The issues around partly-used items are to do with hygiene, dignity, etc.
    • Another very strong recommendation for Oddbods. They were extremely responsive, very clear with quotes, suggestions and ideas, willing to work within my budget where possible and very swift and polite once working in my flat. I had various sets of floating shelves installed (including them fixing up a half-finished, slightly failed home diy attempt from us), a rotten cupboard shelf replaced and new set of hinges installed on a cupboard door. We're really pleased with their work, it looks great. They suggested a few little extra details on the work, which were so appreciated and made everything look even neater.   Easily, the best handypeople I've ever worked with. Strongly recommended.

    • Aroma coffee lab's coffee is top notch (and I have been known to be a bit picky about coffee😆). I had tried it when the owner was running a little coffee stand outside the shop and was impressed. I'm pleased to see he has taken over the shop itself.
