I had better tell my co Director, he is renting DAvid his house in Herts

Why did defoe only play 21 mins Jah? - was it an injury or did he not start? If he did not start then I would be amazed.

Whoops - this was due to a frozen page on fantasy football - he seems to have played the full 90.

Well, well, well..finally Utd don't get away with a poor performance.

If Arsenal beat Liverpool, a big if but they really should, then they are right back in the mix. To be fair Chelsea sounded very unlucky.

Normally I'd be laughing my arse off at the Wolves result at Tottenham (sorry Jah but I would) but the bleeding Spuds even let us down when they lose.....and push us into the bottom 3

Gonna see what's happened to the odds for the title - as an aside, West Ham were 7/1 for relegation this morning which struck me as generous but even a gambler like me can't do that.....

The BBC 10 O'clock news tonight headlined with Marc Antoine Fortune's wonder strike against Motherwell on the opening news headlines.

I was amazed until I saw that BBC has no premiership rights (to show any english footie before MOTD probably)

But - hey - look on the bright side - you guys get to see the mighty Celtic. 3 great goals. Eat your heart out PGC.

Whilst MU will have been happy with Michael Owen in mid week - yesterdays two goals from Carlos Tevez and his recent performances show that he is the one they should have retained.

To lose Ronaldo was one thing but Tevez would have played a bigger part in his absence.

Arsenal have lost to MU and Chelsea so far, so they need to show today that they can beat a big4 team. If they do Quids, then things begin to look very interesting.

If they lose then I guess they are not any worse off than they were before the weekend, but they will feel they missed an opportunity.

Arsenal missed Van Persie against Chelsea, no doubt about that, but last weekend thay played Arshavin up front as a striker and that seemed to work, so hopefully that will be a fix for their upfront problems. I think that is a good move from Wenger, better than Walcott or Eduardo.

I think a fit and physical Liverpool side should beat Arsenal this afternoon. I knew United were going to struggle as soon as Radio 5 started spouting those 'it's been 20 odd years since Villa beat United at OT' blah blah blah. Still, we should be better over Christmas!

SP - I think Arsenal are physically stronger than previous seasons - I don't think that is so much of a concern anymore. They outmuscled the Chelsea midfield in the first half a few weeks ago and control midfield possession against most teams they have played this season.

Their obvious failure is not having the firepower upfront, but hope Arshavin can do the business up front today. I'd encourage Arsenal players to shoot on sight - they still try to keep passing the ball even when they get in the box. They have to be more direct and decisive. Thay can be beautiful to watch but equally, they can be very frustrating.

    • Good luck with this - there have been several requests over the years by students needing to do infant observations.  I was lucky when I did mine  - way back in 1994 at a local nursery. Have you tried contacting the NCT to see if there are any local groups who would be willing to participate? As a mother of 2 - found the observation very informative - mine was a 2 year old child as my course stated a child under 3. Got my highest grade for this project so was very happy.
    • Happy birthday! I've just read a bunch of your reviews and really enjoyed it. You write Interestingly without being too ornate, and you manage to give a really good insight into the "vibe" of a place as well as the food. Totally agree with your review of Rocca - it's simple, great food in a friendly atmosphere at a completely reasonable price, esp considering the location.
    • Hello,  I am a 52-year old mother and an integrative counsellor who lives and works in West Dulwich, SE21. In mid January I am starting a new training in Parent Infant Psychotherapy (helping parents to bond with their babies), and a key component of the course is a 24-month infant observation.  I’m looking for someone who will be giving birth ideally in January or February and who would allow me to observe their baby for one hour a week until the baby’s second birthday. The baby can be awake or asleep, playing, feeding, eating or interacting with carer/s and family members - whatever they normally do at that time.  The purpose of the observation is to enable me to gain a thorough knowledge of very early infant development and to develop the capacity to maintain an observationally minded and non-judgemental attitude in my work as an infant-parent psychotherapist.  I will provide enhanced DBS clearance and I’m happy to answer any questions.  Please forward this email to anyone who might be interested, email me at [email protected] or call me on 07949716043. I would be extremely grateful for any leads. Many thanks,  Millie  Millie Burton, MBACP Integrative Counsellor [email protected] millieburton.com
    • I keep my promises...had the Sweet & Sour Chicken.  It was great - the best sweet and sour dish I've ever had. The chicken itself was good and the sauce seemed home made with real vegetables and pineapple - it is NOT the red sugar sauce goo you get elsewhere.  The Korean fried chicken was very good but the sweet chili sauce was much more chili than sweet - just far too spicy for me. There is a honey something sauce that I will get next time. Egg fried veggie rice was good as a side.  We also ordered the chicken katsu curry which was polished off so quickly I didn't get to taste it. It looked very good tho. SD is not like Magic Wok used to be - cheap and filling but junk food. (Don't get me wrong - I went often to Magic Wok). SD's food is much higher quality, real ingredients, chunky portions, freshly prepared. I'll be back, for sure.
