LB - Pick up a blue and white scarf and join me and kpc in the Birmingham City Supporters Club (East Dulwich Branch). We can explain all you need to know about what football is really about - the pain of losing, and the occasional joy of winning.... and the singing....did I mention that?!

Start by supporting your local team. That would be Dulwich Hamlets or Millwall.

Get warm underwear and big woolly scarf. Learn a few phrases to be shouted at apt times, eg, "Who is the elegant athelete in the black who seems a trifle myopic?".

Go with friends and consume lots of hot bovril or beer. If you choose Millwall, the pies outside the ground are better than inside.

Enjoy.

I forgot to say - we can teach you the off-side rule too.

Haha, love it.

As a Liverpool fan living Peckham my husband does regularly go to support Dulwich Hamlet and is now one of the pink and blue army.

Although you don't need the warm clothes for Dulwich Hamlet as you can watch from the bar - result.

Extremely gracious post! Thanks. Thought it was a pretty good game. First 20 minutes were all Brum, then it evened out. Home advantage swung it, but if that goal had been given then it would have been interesting!!

Agreed - at half-time felt that we were in control and that there was very little threat - think there were half a dozen times when you passed the ball out of play. Pompey stepped it up after the break and we didn't respond. Too many players had a poor second halfd. The first goal may have been scrappy but the second was well taken and a killer punch. And we really didn't create much in the second half. Talking to Blues fans after, nearly everyone felt let down by the team. Just make sure you do the right and proper thing if you get V***a in the semis.

His outfit is terrible! He looks like he cries like a girl! He's owned by someone sinister! His manager has a face like a bull dog licking p*ss off a thistle! Anyhoo I dislike men who are prettier than me.

    • No, I didn't make a any comment, just posted a link. Clearly posting a link without a comment is seen as an opportunity to pile in on the poster, thanks.
    • In posting the link, that you may or may not have read, did you have a view?  I don't believe you are neutral. It's a sensationalist headline but misleading.  The heat pump sector is crying out for reduction in electricity costs and this is one way it could be achieved. Time would be better spent taking time to digest the article.
    • It’s even worse this weekend, the bass is unbearable.    The fact SE22 is getting upset about something in an entirely different Borough probably suggests how bloody loud it is that we can still hear it from here!? It must be awful for those living right next to it as I feel stressed enough from half an hour away. I don’t see any benefit to the local community, it blocks off our green spaces, makes it deeply unpleasant to be at home every weekend, and most attending will be from outside of the area. I also wonder if these events are the reason there are so many dead fish currently bobbing around the lake in brockwell park? Pretty miserable for the local wildlife too.
