Ladygooner
Going to Upton Park this Saturday and inconveniently the District Line is not running from 3pm. Anyone got any travel tips on how to get there? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18997-football-focus/page/262/#findComment-487381 Share on other sites

Keef
LG, get overground from forest hill to canada water, get jubilee to Canning Town, then get number 5, 115, or (g think) 330 along Barking Road to the bottom of Green Street. You should do it in an hour easily. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18997-football-focus/page/262/#findComment-487383 Share on other sites
Emerson Crane
Due to the current financial problems surrounding a lot of football clubs at the moment, Man U have had to release 15 members of staff from their payroll. The 5 referees and 10 linesman are said to be devastated. Keef
Try being a Liverpool supporter. Torres scores after 2 minutes, it's all good. Oh wait, no, we can't defend, and it's the same players Woy had at his disposal. Hopefully Kenny will be a bit more daring and go for it. Keef
Blackpool double over Liverpool, and from what I can gather, fully deserved. Kenny has had no real time to do anything, but if we lose to Everton, things will look decidedly shite. kpc
I keep waiting for Blackpool to commence their slide down the table but they continue to get the results. Amazing really. DaveR
McParland learnt the lesson from the Chelsea spanking and put 5 in midfield for Arsenal, and the players found a bit of confidence when Arsenal didn't really get into the groove. Let's hope Jewell can take it on from here. Roy who? Keef
So Santa Cruz likely to return to Blackburn because he wants to remain in the North West. Wright Phillips to come down to London and join Fulham or West Ham. I honestly wouldn't mind a punt on either of them at Liverpool right now. kpc
That'll become apparent when personal terms are discussed. Personally, not sure if it's a good move or not. Presume minimum contract will be 2.5 years and there will be minimal re-sale value for a 33 year old Keane. So overall package will cost ?15m allowing for wage demands. Suspect will get good use out of him this season but his interest seems to wane. If it goes through, I hope he does well, just have reservations. Mick Mac
Will be interesting to see west ham fans view if o neill gets the job. They certainly couldn't have hoped for a higher calibre manager. There will be some who will be snobbish about the o neill style of play but i think these comments often come from the ill informed and i would suggest you wait and see. Ill be following west ham with interest if he does take it . Is suggest he must have been given a huge incentive to take the job in terms of transfer budget as the initial rumours were he did not want the job. murphy
I thought the manner of Liverpool's sacking of Hodgson was bad enough but West Ham, dear oh dear.I guess fans can look forward to some "Allardyce lite" football. O'Neill is a great manager but just can't see him not falling out with the lovely Gold, Sullivan and Brady. Keef
I know Anna loves Rafa, but Mick's love for O'Neil is unrivalled! Anyway, I thought Liverpool handled Woy's sacking badly, but if this story is true, then it shows a spectacular amount of disrespect for Grant! Mick Mac
It seems noone I know who supports Liverpool wants him.I'd suggest O Neill will have a break clause in his contract allowing him to move at short notice if any big job does come his way but in the meantime he'll give West Ham his all and I'd like to think he'd keep them up.
