If that's true, then Liverpool shouldn't refer back to winning the most European Cups in English Footaball, United shouldn't refer back to winning 19 titles, Arsenal shouldn't should talk about going 49 games unbeaten, all of these are worthy achievements. Good luck to Citeh, they've waited a long time to get this far.

Those are massive acheivments though, I was talking about single results.

Don't get me wrong, I'm always up for bragging over Man U, but bragging too much over one result can come back to burn you.

Absolutely right Otta.

I was very impressed with Spurs yesterday. Our passing and movement was superb and Scott Parker was once again outstanding. We've not lost a premier league game since he joined us in the summer. Bargain of the season so far.

Very good performances from both North London teams...looks like AVB is starting to lose the plot

Oh dear Lord...you are right to be confused Mr. Medic. I think it's time I came off the Tramadol and Codeine. I must have been thinking of the scarf...when speaking of United...

Yes, am going to the DH away game against WT. Friends have a house in Whitstable; and are going to take me to that match. The WT scarf I am knitting is for one of my friends - a (now) Whitstable supporter. I shall be wearing my DH scarf (and cheering on DH) whilst my friend will be supporting WT.

As for knitting a Barca scarf...you'll be asking me to knit a City scarf* next! (6) However, you are forgiven because your post made me laugh out aloud.

Great result for Newcastle tonight. A hat-trick for Ibrahim Ba and up to third place. Who'd a thunk it? I bet West Ham are gutted about letting him go for nothing.

Extremely gutted but he had a 'I-can-leave-if-you-get-relegated' clause in his contract so no choice.

Almost as gutted as watching Parker turn in world beating performances week in week out for Spurs.
