Lets face it next season you'll be back to mid table mediocrity when the twitching saggy jowled crook has it away. Lets hope he doesn't leave with a nasty financial parting shot. That would be awful. Mick Mac
Eh SCSB. I'm familiar with EBTs and like any other trust yes they are legal. Paying your players huge amounts of money without deducting tax is illegal. Mick Mac
Administrators at ibrox say payments to their top earners will continue. None of the referees in question were available for comment.[That was sent to me by my Rangers friend so don't shout at me :))] Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18997-football-focus/page/422/#findComment-524594 Share on other sites
SCSB79
A pound coin was thrown onto the pitch at Ibrox. Police are trying to determine whether it was a missile or a takeover bid. Chippy Minton
Rangers fans are delighted an Italian-based billionaire has bought the club. Parkdrive
Now that Tevez has done his Uriah Heep impersonation and offered his ever so humble apology, does anyone seriously think he'll play for City again? I think Mancini will just keep saying he's not quite match fit until the end of the season. And if he does get in the side, what signal does that send out to the likes of Balotelli who can't get a regular game? Get rid for the sake of the club. Bluerevolution
He has to play again, how can we sell him if he doesn't? We don't need him, obviously. Top of the league and a great win over former Europa Cup winners last night. Otta
He will play, because;1. He's a very good player, and they may need that extra bit of quality in the final push;2. (and this is the main reason) They will want to put him back in the window for potential buyers, and a player who has played a few games for the title winning team (possibly) will be a lot more attractive than a player who last played in September 2011.Edit, cross post with BR Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18997-football-focus/page/422/#findComment-525123 Share on other sites
????
Should have come to West Ham - always a hero here -and then Torres would have joined us on loan too. Still, happy with how we're doing anyway but the dream was on for a while... Undisputedtruth
I think both guys (Macini & Tevez) recognise that they need to put away their personal difference in order to focus on winning premiership title. Tevez is just doing what's best for him. He needs to play if he is to have a worthwhile career after City. Undisputedtruth
Tevez not getting his wages had probably influenced his apology too. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18997-football-focus/page/422/#findComment-525259 Share on other sites
Mick Mac
It sounds to me like it was a reconciliation brokered by the top people at City. It does not do the club any favours from a PR perspective or a financial perspective to have this dispute prolonged further. I think Mancini was told to accept Tevez back subject to a full and public apology. I think without intervention from above Mancini and Tevez would have quite happily never spoken again. But then they don't control the club. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18997-football-focus/page/422/#findComment-525277 Share on other sites

maxxi
So Psycho thinks an under-21 qualifying game will be better for Oxlade-Chamberlain than what he calls a "ten minute cameo" with the full England side. Anyone else think this is the same kind of plodding, backwards thinking that has dogged the national team for decades? Yes he's young etc. but he needs to play alongside his fellow future internationals asap or what's the point in these kind of friendlies? I think the Ox should be blooded now. Undisputedtruth
If you look at Brazil, they have played youngsters like Pele and Ronaldo from an early age.So yeah, O-C should be given his first cap. Otta
I agree, but to be fair, psycho is taking some young players. and he is right in saying that however good O-C is looking, he hasn't actually played that much yet. Undisputedtruth
Frazier Campbell is an interesting choice as I always felt England lacked quality in the strikers department. Chippy Minton
I always thought our strikers for the last couple generations were our one strength. Lineker - Shearer - Owen - Rooney. No strength in depth obviously, but compared to our ropey defence they were world beaters!
