So opting out of a week now becomes a tactic!

This weeks makers and shakers...

AM - 1 Correct Result + 2 Correct Scores = 7 pts

RD - 4 Correct Results + 1 Correct Score = 7 pts

LG - 5 Correct Results + 0 Correct Scores = 5 pts

RC - 2 Correct Results + 1 Correct Score = 5 pts

SC - 2 Correct Results + 1 Correct Score = 5 pts

?? - 4 Correct Results + 0 Correct Scores = 4 pts

DR - 3 Correct Results + 0 Correct Scores = 3 pts

OT - 0 Correct Results + 1 Correct Score = 3 pts

EP - 2 Correct Results + 0 Correct Scores = 2 pts

JL - 2 Correct Results + 0 Correct Scores = 2 pts

MM - 2 Correct Results + 0 Correct Scores = 2 pts

Mx - 2 Correct Results + 0 Correct Scores = 2 pts

PD - 2 Correct Results + 0 Correct Scores = 2 pts

*NEW RULE: At the end of the season, if two teams are tied on the same number of points, the team that has played the most games will finish higher. If both teams have played the same number of games, then it will be a tie...

AM putting in a nice bit of effort there for the Fair Play award.

I think there is some pretty stiff competition for the first to score 0 points legitimately (i.e. without making deliberately silly 10-0 predictions) - The Mis?re trophy is at stake.

If my maths are correct any lurkers wishing to play would have to start this week or they will never reach the 75% participation rule.

Might already have gone, 12 games played out of 38. Plus some weeks there will be more than one game played e.g. Xmas and Easter...

I can understand the logic of sacking RDM if Guardiloa is prepared to take the job now, but not Benitez, unless they think he will get the best out of Torres a la Liverpool form...

Ruthless more like. To have delivered the trophies Ancelotti and Di Matteo had delivered at any other club you'd have thought their job was secure. Not at Chelski. What a horrible club that is.

    • "You have no idea why"   To be fair Sue, it's blindingly obvious to anyone who has a conversation with anyone who isn't a Corbyn supporter. And even some who liked Corbyn (like me initially) found him somewhat flaky even at his most popular But let's say you are right and I have NO idea why anybody might not vote for him. They still didn't vote for him. He lost two elections. The second one badly (and strongly predicted but the stubborn old goat wouldn't budge so we we were stuck with Johnson and another 3 million PMs in the 5 years that followed) So even with ZERO evidence, we have our eyes and ears and brains But we do have evidence   https://yougov.co.uk/politics/articles/27022-their-own-words-why-voters-abandoned-labour
    • As I said, it was my understanding. I worded it very carefully. I didn't/don't know for sure, so clearly not a fact. And hardly an "opinion", which is something completely different. You have no idea what reason anybody might have had for not voting for him (unless you can point to some opinion poll results which actually asked people?)
    • Also, just to add, the threat to kill someone's dog and try to kick it, is an additional extremely unpleasant layer. I have noticed a lot of the burst water balloons lying around in the park too- that is not great for the environment either.
