I would believe those figures if they were for tickets sold (inc season tickets), but for actual attendances, nah...

That'll be the kids for a quid thing. Its a great idea, however the parents will be paying long term due to chronic neck problems.

top work RD, thanks.

you know I've been thinking about trying out aome django development (there's lots of jobs in ireland for it), and these guys would host an app for free

https://www.openshift.com/developers/pricing

If I've got some spare time I might write a little web app to take the hard work out of it next season, just a thought

Thanks Jah, Mick & EP.

Go for it EP. I was thinking earlier that it would be good if there was a more user friendly way of storing and presenting the weekly forecasts, results and table, rather than having to trawl back through pages and pages...

maybe a maxxi should be the lowest score of the week, just to keep them in touch.

You need something else there's no incentive to join late or to carry on if you miss a week through illness or holiday.

If I do the webapp maybe I'll post randomly generated (from 0-2) scores thirty minutes before kick off if no scores have been entered.

Cheers ????.

I was second in the rugby, do you think we should retire to give the others a chance? :)...

Now, now, if you recall I withdrew the "whatever-is-the-opposite-of-yours" prediction and agreed I would play nice and by RD's rules.

You know who I'm bound to go for anyway (no mind games... honest) B)

Oh, and RD? Retire? To spend more time concentrating on the EDF Fantasy Premier League you mean? If I look down I can just about see you.

As per FA Cup Final...

- If both players predict the correct result and correct score i.e 3pts, then the nearest prediction for the first goal scored wins. If by a miracle you both predict the same time, then it's decided by a toss of the coin.

- If both players predict the correct score only i.e 1pt, then closest to the actual score wins. If this is equal then the nearest prediction to the time of the first goal scored applies, and so on.

I think that covers all eventualities.

maxxi wrote on May 04 - "But to save your blood pressure and knowing that otherwise you may suspect chicanery I will make whatever kind of prediction you think is 'correct', a 'by-the-book' prediction and pm it to Rd(if that's the way you think it should be done), okay?"

I never said I would do it there and then (I didn't and, until today, hadn't) and have not stated since that I had, had had, or had had had done it since then - until today.

But that doesn't appear to be a formality. Can't think why not - Newcastle don't want him back so who else is there? I hope he signs. He may be a big/physical player but he has some skills too - unlike whoever BFS would get as a replacement.

    • What is it that makes Waitrose so special! Admittedly I have shopped a couple of times in the Orpington and Beckenham one - sometimes buying food which I cannot get else where. Their 'basic range' is not bad. Price for price and quality - M & S.
    • Sometimes a shed or other installation has to have written approval from the freeholder i.e. Southwark, Southwark has (or did have) a Leaseholder Association.   Could also come under Anti Social Behaviour Unit.
    • Love Dulwich is great but has a large step in front. We have only been weekdays at Lunch time. Maria's next to Picture House is disabled friendly. Also can reserve table in advance. We did a Sunday lunch catch up with family - there were 8 of us.
    • Hi, Thinking about  going with some friends and was just wondering if folk might like to report back please. Most importantly sound level when busy & is it disabled friendly.  Thinking on a Sunday lunchtime but don’t want a busy busy environment or loud chatter - a couple of friends could not cope. Time can be flexible, if that helps - say 2 ish to avoid above.. Thanks…
