Looks like you bottoming stuff out I was watching X Factor and modestly drinking which was remarkably good considering I'm cynical and the economic system didn't actually collapse during it so I will regard it as money in the Bank of Life. Now where can I package that and sell it on and by so doing increase the happiness a hundred fold.

Nexus - not bad considering internet wisdom is not to feed the trolls - consider yourself sated.

Are you sure you were only modestly drinking?

The banking regulations that are on the books, are not being enforced, why, all US presidents funded by banks, quid pro quo perhaps.

US banking system is Fraud.

Take a look in the Drawing room

Right. I've just read ten pages of this bollix.

What was the point again?

Correct me if I'm wrong but the pink and crouton corner think that we are within a crusty shout of the world as we know it changing. I'm with them. When I grew up the two Ronniess had twenty million viewers every week and the worm that turned was a serious treatise on feminism. Now my 19 months old child looks scathingly on any technology that isn't touchscreeny.

The ecrue and burgundy corner think that there will be muddling through. I'm with them, when I grew up everything ws shit, and now everything is shit because everything is good, but now that everything is good everything is obviously shit, you know... Because .... Mor summink.

Forgive me, ten pages of this shit.

Those that use poor history are as bad as the bad science brigade. Coincidence to be causality, anecdote to be trend. Or ultimately, I've a hypothesis, here's some stuff to prove it; bugger the morass of everything else; rather than here's the whole complex world how does it fit together.

Oh, and when someone doesn't answer a question but posts an oblique link in reply then discount them, they are incapable of original thought or a decent opinion, what they are doing is looking into the middle distance, furrowing brow and hoping that their handsomeness is enough.

What they really mean is:

My argument boils down to this "I think things might go a bit wrong in the future"

Errrr..... That's it.

I've no issue with economics, though it's a bit dull. I do have an issue with bad history.

I seem to have something in common with a couple of other posters, history backgroundwise, and it may be down to us to ensure that the EDF doesn't invade Abyssinia.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

There is however a good novel by an Italian collective called "Luther Blisset" which deals with the early days of Protestantism, particularly the more revolutionary anabaptist elements, which is well worth a read.

It's the DNA of that time that we still see strong in NN and co. It is more prevalent in the US for the obvious reason that the place was practically born of those strands, but it is lively everywhere now.

No god to fight against and the church is neutered, so let's rail against "them" whomsoever they may be. So much easier than blaming yourself for your inadequacy eh.

And no SJ, I'm still not taking about you you weirdo.

Nah - saving that for special occasions such as when the financial oligarchy finally falls (sell by date is Sep 2012 so they had better hurry up.)

For all the posting sheep that bleep Bar, Bar, ?conspiracy theory?

When Winston Churchill told the house, Germany is re-arming, and readying itself for war, the shouts from the benches was, sit-down, and war-monger.

Just because you do not like something does not make it a ?conspiracy theory?

Theories are theories until they become facts.

Sorry people, the world is round.

    • In just two days, we’ll take to the streets to show Donald Trump that he and his politics are not welcome here. On Saturday the global far-right mobilised their biggest protest for decades. We want to show that supporters of Trump and fascism are not the majority – far from it. Here are all the details you need for the day. The march assembles at Portland Place, near the BBC, at 2pm (see assembly blocs below). After speeches here, the march will move off at 3pm. It will then march down Regent St, through Piccadilly Circus, on Whitehall (past Downing St) to our rally at Parliament Square. The rally at Parliament Square will begin around 5pm and finish at 7pm. If you can’t make it to the march, feel free to join the rally after work! (Nearest tube: Westminster). The short, accessible version of the route assembles at the top of Whitehall (SW1A 2DY) at 4.30pm to march to Parliament Square for 5pm. You may also prefer to just join the rally directly at Parliament Square.  Join a bloc – and make friends! Our movement is diverse, and various elements are forming ‘blocs’ on the march to emphasise their visual presence collectively. You can join these blocs or form up behind them:   A) Palestine, near BBC, W1A 1AA B) Climate, W1B 1NS C) Amnesty, around junction with New Cavendish St, W1B 1LU D) Migrants' rights, W1B 1LS E) Jewish bloc, W1B 1QQ F) Ukraine, around junction with Weymouth St, W1B 1JL G) Europe, W1B 1NR More stewards still needed Stewards are a crucial part of keeping the protest safe for everyone to participate. They are a visible point of contact for attendees who may need directions or other assistance. Experience of stewarding is useful but it's also fine if you haven't done it before. You will be issued with a hi-vis jacket and briefed in advance and on the day.  Sign up to be a steward Staying comfortable on the day The demonstration lasts for several hours, so we suggest you should:     Bring a bottle of water and snacks (and eat beforehand)     Charge your phone fully the night before, and bring a portable charger if you can     Go to the loo beforehand (really!)     Buddy up with someone, or stick together as a group – it can be hard to find people easily if people wander off     Coming alone? Protests can be a great place to meet like-minded people. If you feel unsure, you can always talk to a steward     Consider the weather: bring a waterproof jacket or wear suncream where necessary     Wear comfortable clothes and footwear, and use our accessible route if you need to (see above) Bring your friends and family on Wednesday. Let’s make this massive! In solidarity, Stop Trump Coalition
