We have a store opening event in Dulwich next Thursday 21st June 5 - 9pm.

We need 2 staff to serve drinks and food. Would suit a local teen / young person.

Must arrive at 4pm to help prepare. ?35 for the evening 4 - 9pm.

Minimum wage is dependant upon age. Under 18 is ?4.50 ish. 18-20 is ?5.90, Over 25 is ?7.83

So offering a young person 17-19 ?7 an hour is pretty good

They can't discriminate on age so they have to advertise that job pays minimum wage. Advertising for local teen/young person is avoidance by the back door

You also can't specify age in a job advert, it's against the equality act and is discriminatory.
