Dodgy window cleaner SE22

Hi

A quick update - a guy knocked on my door yesterday (beauval rd) with what appeared to be window cleaning kit, he said he was working two doors up etc., could clean windows for ?10 - which i paid (I was holding baby and feeding rest of siblings ie not paying attention). He never turned up. Since he was so good at the gab I imagine that this is a regular con.

So: for me and anybody reading this, next time get a biz card, pay after job, and dont be so trusting!

FYI he is fifties, white, gift of gab and doesn't clean windows.

That is a horrible thing to happen to you, especially as you have children, nice of you to post this and to give the advice not to give money, it may help other people.
