TimeOut East Dulwich (local guide?)

Recommended Posts

Hi,

This is my first posting - hello everyone!

I like this idea and had wondered about something along similar lines when my friend co-wrote a very successful book (now in its second edition) called Inside Notting Hill, which is exactly as the title suggests. If anyone wants to take such an idea forwards, I'd be happy to be involved. I'm a book publisher and know how to get from a script to a high quality paperback product.

I can't see that a book format would be viable unless it were loose-leaf. There's far too many changes around here these days: new businesses opening, local pharmacies increasing their opening hours, gift shops going out of business after Christmas, etc.

And that's why it could be updated and a new edition published in time - new businesses would be keen to get in! But such a book would have to be more than just a directory of listing which can, as you point out, go out of date too quickly. I shall look at the book on Notting Hill once again and remind myself, and share with you all, what it contains!
