My mother in law wants to take my 3yo to a show in December. It should ideally be on a Saturday or Sunday.

What's on this winter? Where do I look? Thinking about panto or some other interactive format, or a kids musical, I actually have NO idea. Doesn't have to be Christmassy but it's fine if it is.

Can you introduce me to the world of shows for little ones? Anywhere in London is fine.

The Snowman at the Peacock theatre is lovely, and a great introduction to ballet without being full of tutus! Also good as can read book first so she knows what is going on. Took daughter when 4 first time and there were loads smaller in the theatre. Runs to under 2 hours including interval so not too long. Pm if any other questions. Becca

Polka Children's Theatre production for three-year-olds - The Ugly Duckling - is already sold out but for slightly older children - aged 5 plus - there is a wonderful production of Charlotte's Web about to open.

    • does either of them have a surgery? probably not over summer, but I thought they had to give the opportunity for their constituents to meet them.
    • MaryT, I’ve contacted the Dulwich Hill councillors several times in recent years, always copying them both in. I have never had an acknowledgment from Jon Hartley (not even an automated response or out-of-office) nor had any response or engagement from him regarding the issue raised.   On each occasion, only Maggie Browning responded (she uses an out-of-office if she is away). The last time, I received no response from either for 3 months, until Maggie Browning emailed me to apologise for not responding and asking if the problem had been resolved.
    • The  Kwasi effect is being considered.
    • Agree with you - just like Love Dulwich. At least it is healthier than pizza and god knows how many chicken, chips and burger places on lane.. And different.
