Mark
OK, I've turned off the message count just to try something out. Please let me know if:a) that's annoyingb) the forum's got a bit fasterc) you would mind if it didn't returnEvery time you look at the number of new messages, the system has to count how many message you haven't read and that slows things down especially when there's lots of people on the site. It still leaves "new" next to messages that you haven't read, and you can still click on "new" to go directly to the first of the newest messages. Let me know. Keef
What I am finding is that on the home page, none of the "rooms" now say new next to them. When you actually click on the room, the threads still have their news though. No biggy, just reporting. Peckhamgatecrasher
I'm with Keef, except I now have to go into the sections to see if there is any new stuff which is time consuming. Preferred how it was. team_zissou
I can confirm from my tests on a Mac that Firefox 2.0.012 shows the red 'new' markers and Safari does not..Opera and Camino web browsers also fail to show the 'new' tags on the Mac.The html gets passed differently in the two browsers:In firefox:span class="PhorumNewFlag">newIn Safari, Opera and Camino:span class="PhorumNewFlag">I'm on OSX version 10.4.11Ive tried both logged out and in and get the same results.
