I do realise this response is 2 years later but.... yes Pink Thursdays is still going strong in 2014. We meet at the House of Tippler on Lordship Lane, the first thursday of the month from 7.30pm til closing time. The lovely Tim in House of Tippler makes special pink thursday cocktails for us, so thank you Tim.

We have a facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/pinkthursdays/ and email [email protected] for more info

It is a friendly group for gay girls and boys and their friends and families, it is not for profit, just about having a community really and organised by a group of volunteers. We also organise big walks in the country fairly regularly, and football on the Rye on Wed evenings, and ad hoc nights out, lunches, dinners etc.

I have to apologise for being 2 years late in replying to this, a few people have mentioned to me that there was a post on the forum from 2012, so I thought I should reply. Better late than never, unless you have now moved out of East Dulwich...

    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
    • Did anyone actually venture in to that place? I recall it always being closed/very uninviting!
    • Perry Bamonte from The Cure.. Just 65 years old.
