  1. Thank you all. For those looking now, do call 0800 316 3105. They have it logged as a local area fault now and are saying 1.30pm for a fix (but you can call that number for updates)
  2. Anyone else got a power cut in Worlungham road area? Badger
  3. avoid british gas like the plague :( that's my advice...
  4. Well I'd be interested in what you think, Tom? The rubbish appeared after the old tenants left and before new tenants arrived, It's ikea packaging and I was there when the KFH estate agent let the ikea delivery people in. My conclusion: estate agent problem. Presumably part of their management fee to deal with new furniture (mattresses etc) between tenants.
  5. I'm so pissed off with this behaviour I'm willing to expend some money to take things further legally. Thanks so much muffins78. If no success I'm going to take the bloody sign and 3 bags-worth of other garbage and dump it in their reception area. Tossers. Too many people around with rectal cranial inversion syndrome.
  6. Ah Loz - I stop short of criminal damage... I don't think I can even legally dump it outside their offices if they are shut over the weekend. Anyone finding this thread - you can complain here: Tel: 020 7525 2000 Email: [email protected] though I don't hold much hope with this.
  7. I was thinking about that, but there's quite a lot of waste and it's bulky... may have to get a gang together. Tossers. Profit over people every day.
  8. Don't disagree ????. It's not my property that's been let. Would never use them after this.
  9. Anyone else had problems with KFH refusing to remove a lettings sign (after two reminders) and leaving rubbish outside the property? Need advice from anyone who managed to get it resolved! Utterly dreadful dealings with KFH. Absolutely fuming that a load of rubbish is piled outside my property.
  10. Recommendation from me too - highly recommend Dave!!

If you are wondering what this is, the original Left Book Club ran from 1936 to 1948, and was credited with helping Labour?s 1945 election landslide. Four books are published through LBC every year (members pay an annual subscription and get the books in the post). Titles so far include Syriza and Being Red... http://www.leftbookclub.com/ in its reincarnated form PM me / post a comment if you fancy it...

  13. Hello! I need some work doing round the flat. Sadly on a limited budget... - replace back door (which will involve shortening a bought door and possibly replacing parts of the frame due to rot) - take up laminate and fit new wooden boards - painting (hall, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom) - take out existing kitchen units and fit new ones I'm after quotes initially so I have some sense of what money I need to find! If you can help/recommend someone, please do get in touch! Badger

  16. So sorry to hear about this.... If you do consider small claims, it's pretty straightforward and can be done online... costs about ?35-50 depending on the size of your claim (may be higher if you are claiming more): These are the steps and costs: https://www.gov.uk/make-court-claim-for-money/overview Online claim form: https://www.gov.uk/make-money-claim-online Making a complaint to trading standards: http://www.southwark.gov.uk/info/200098/trading_standards/1462/information_for_consumers I would also let the local vets know as many will get recommendations from them
  17. Well I, for one, like East Dulwich. Not all of it, but a lot of it. And the bits I don't like are mainly a matter of personal preference. I suppose it would be churlish to expect everyone in the area to cater to my own particular whims... I don't like this forum much sometimes, but I have managed to find decent people in the area who aren't virtual.
