So many Threads on EDF seem to Morph into something which bears no realation to the original subject matter..

A bit like an old World War 2 'True Story'

The head of a line of marching troops hear a message from The Front... 'The Rations Have Been Increased'

This is passed down the line. By the time it has reached the end of the line... 'The Russians Are In Greece'

Perhaps we are all a bit guilty of this..:-$

I guess there are at least ways in which a thread can metmorphose:

- in Chinese whispers style, as per your example. This probably happens if you just read the last one or two posts beore writing your own;

- or in the same way a conversation/debate may flow from an one topic to another

    • Would this not be a complaint better aimed at the council? Isn't it an anti social behaviour issue?  I think of myself as pretty live-and-let-live and feel like a miserable cow for saying this, but I do think I might complain. Personally I love the sound of fireworks but our dog is under the table, shaking like a leaf night after night and collapses in the street when he hears the noise.  I'm worried his heart'll give out.
    • The lower / no bang noise fireworks sound great.    Is there anywhere local selling those?
    • This petition to reduce the noise of fireworks is currently going through Parliament https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/738192
    • Have you complained to the solicitor directly and did they respond within the 8 weeks they have under their code of conduct - I presume they have and this is why you have escalated further to the SRA? If he doesn't respond in a timely fashion per the SRA code of conduct then I am sure they will need to take action.
