>> but you cant get upset because someone wants to build two buildings next to each other that happen to be tall and exploding in a sort of pluming office furniture and burning jet fuel fashion

No you're right, its a classic architectural design pattern ;)

The colloquial use of the term ?believe? really gets to me. Someone just asked me if I ?believe? in the national infrastructure plan.

Well there is a copy of it sitting on my desk but I concede that this alone is not reliable proof of its existence.

The look on their face indicated that they weren?t trying to pass the afternoon by considering a philosophical conundrum.

I wonder if this world will wake up tomorrow to find that it is actually a butterfly that was just dreaming that is was a universe filled with inane annoyance.

I believe it may.

LOL....I think those pics maxxi show just how different the two buildings are, rather than how similar they are but I have to admit that it may be that the 'cloud' idea was inspired by the twin towers. I still think the result is an interesting and attractive building....although I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea.

    • Actually, if it was factory fitted then it's location would be documented. It's the fact that it can be fitted in different places which means that it's difficult for thieves to locate.
    • OK, good suggestion and it appears that the after-market price is about £260. But if that that was fitted ex-factory then the cost would be substantially less and certainly a small fraction of the price of a high-end car.
