Dead Fox

Got a dead fox in garden. Any suggestions on how to remove other than burying it ?

Put in food/plant material recycling bin?

Or, in bin bag in non-recyclable bin?

Or, phone local vet and ask if they have disposal service?

I had a dead fox in my back garden once. As it begins to decompose it will smell!

If the council are prepared to take it away then fine. Otherwise bury it as quick as you can.

A fox - that changes things. Just chuck it in the recycling bin.

Suggest calling the council who should collect and dispose of the fox, don't touch without wearing gloves.

No NOT the recycling bin.

Since when was a fox recyclable.

Put it in a double bin bag in the regular bin.

It's classed as refuse or waste, a bit like meat.

Food recycling does include meat, bones, etc., though I believe they draw the line at corpses.

OK lets be clear here:

Unless you are a raptor-humanoid-cross then we can class a dead fox as general waste, but NOT food waste.

I'm rather partial to foraging but I do draw the line at fox meat; smoked, cured or otherewise.

Anyone heard from Dulwichfox lately?

They charge to remove it from your garden - we had one removed about 4/5yrs ago and it was about ?30. The council guys that did it said I should have dumped it on the street as they collect those on public highways for free.
