We went to the top of Dawsons hill last night to see in the New Year. We thought we would be the only ones there but there was a grand turnout with sparklers, drinks and general excitement. There was even a family who had set up a little picnic. Anyway the views were incredible with the London eye fireworks being the centrepiece and lots of other firework displays across the rest of the skyline. It's so difficult to describe and give it justice. Just wanted to let you know for next year and the future. our original plans fell through last minute but it was so worth it.

Happy New Year :)-D

    • Wow!  Is this the remnants of a wood pigeon?  We occasionally see the feathers following a kill but only once have I seen the hawk in the garden and certainly not like your experience.
