EPB
I have unearthed a small pile of assorted tapes that date back to the 1960s, and would love to know what?s on them (there?s a chance that one of them is my late grandad reminiscing about the trenches in WW1). However, I don?t have the equipment on which to play them. There are two 7? whoppers (EMITAPE magnetic recording tape), three 5? (Sony high density video tape for helical scan video tape recorders) and four 3? (Agfachrome super8)I?d be very grateful if someone could suggest where I might go to get them transferred to DVD. fleur
I used these people, so have a look at their website for more info. I had my tapes put onto a memory stick, about ?10 a tape. https://www.digitalconverters.co.uk Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/212864-old-audiovideo-tapes/#findComment-1301329 Share on other sites

fishbiscuits
Try Stanley Productions : https://www.stanleysonline.co.uk/They should be able to handle pretty much any open-reel audio or video format. Not sure about the super 8 though. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/212864-old-audiovideo-tapes/#findComment-1301658 Share on other sites
