Shop changes in East Dulwich

Walked past Lush designs today and noticed it is going to close down (still open and trading normally at the moment).

Lots of activity in other units too. Does anyone know whether the unit next to grove vale library has been let now and if so what it?s going to be? Has had people working on it over last few weeks.

Lush is trading here until 29 December I believe. They will still trade at their shop in Greenwich and online. Sorry to see them go from Lordship Lane.

That's a shame about Lush. It's a nice shop. Rents a bit too high though i'd have thought.

I passed that on the bus and thought it was the existing shop selling houseplants and pots which had branched (no pun intended) out into other things.

Are they two separate shops?

Don't understand. Why would girders imply Costa? Have I missed something here? (Quite likely!)

Anyone know what the shop next to the cherry tree on grove vale is going to be? (Between the pub and where the library used to be) -seems to be getting fitted out at the moment.

Even though it's just a door or so down from Dulwich Design Kitchens, I've heard it is going to be another kitchen shop.

Thanks - that would make sense as when the door was open and I was passing the other day it looked like a long counter inside - would make sense if it was a kitchen.

Makes sense really - anyone shopping for a 'higher end' kitchen in the area is likely to go to Dulwich Design kitchens so having a shop nearby probably makes sense in terms of a ready market. Also those units are pretty small so not really big enough for a lot of businesses.

Apologies if I've missed it, but what is happening at the old Threshers site in Lordship Lane?

It is boarded up and something finally seems to be happening there!

Anyone any idea about whats replacing Threshers yet? Having been down Lordship Lane yet this week so apologies if its very obvious now. Would be interested to know what's going in there though.
