This may seem a little random, and is a complete long shot, but a friend of mine met a guy on New Years Eve at the East Dulwich Tavern, and as her luck would have it, she gave him the wrong phone number!! She really wants to get in touch with him again but we only have the following info on him:

He's called Andre

He's tall and dark

He's from Oslo

He's lived in London for 5ish years

He trades ships

Lives in Clapham Junction but has a Scottish friend who lives in East Dulwich, who he met through a house share

He went to Battersea Freeze festival last year, Nov time

If it sounds like you know him, please get in touch. My friend Anna will be extremely grateful!

    • Seems to be back on now although pressure reduced especially for hot water via boiler. Hopefully I can have a shower in the morning.
    • It’s far too hot. Dogs should not be out and you’re right to post this.
    • Agree that you have to be so careful dogs in this heat… but please dont judge so quickly.  Its one thing if you see a dog at midday being thrown the ball endlessly, but if you see a dog en route / somewhere - You dont know if that dog was being walked to the vet for an emergency appointment.. or taken to a friend’s house that is cooler etc.  And if they live in a flat, they might desperately need to be taken out for a quick pee / poo !
    • I know,  absolutely crazy.  A dog has never died because it didn't have a walk, but dogs do die if walked in this heat. Perhaps the owners should put on a thick fur coat, take their shoes off and jog round the pavements, and see how that feels! 🤬
