3 dogs poisoned and others very ill - Brockwell Park

Heard last night that three dogs have died from poisoning in Brockwell Park and others are ill.

Police have been informed. Apparently in meadow area by Lido - been asked to spread the word.

I heard that it was meat which had been deliberately poisoned. Wise to steer clear.

Probably somebody sick of cleaning dog poo from their kids' clothing, pushchair/bike wheels, etc etc....

It seems as though this is getting worse - dogs are also being poisoned in the park/grass area behind Sainsbury's. My dog was poisoned but fortunately I got him to the vets in time (it cost ?400 to sort out, but a small price to pay in the grand scheme). Please do keep an eye out for anyone leaving food out (and ideally force feed it to them!!)

Thanks for posting... Are you talking about Sainsbury in Dog Kennel Hill? assume so.

Really are some very sick b...... around. And no doubt police to busy to do much and underfunded just like the local parks so down to individuals to post and keep eyes open.

I always pick up after him but evidently a lot of humans don't pick up after themselves.

Years ago we lost our rescued Greyhound to poisoning. It was thought that someone had put down rat poison by the rubbish bins of a local caf? to stop foxes getting into the bin.

That?s awful. Maybe it would be worth putting a muzzle on dogs to stop them eating anything while out walking until this is sorted out.
