Lux Thai Restaurant

Hi, we walked passed this Thai restaurant, almost missing it but nonetheless as we are new to the area, just want to hear some feedbacks. So, is it worth a try, as we are fond of thai cuisine?

It's ok. Nothing special. Matoom in Forest Hill is much better (IMO).

It?s the only empty restaurant on the lane.

The menu hasn?t changed in 20 years.

If you like Thai food this is an underwhelming venue.

It was rammed last night at 21.00

So was Chicken World in Brixton.

Neither probably on account of the quality of the food.

I'm not suggesting the food at Lux Thai is good. I have never been there and no desire to do so.

Begging Bowl is better

But do venture off the manor, head to Crofton Park and check out Malaysia Deli. It?s very home spun and home made, but just so nice too.
