It's Saturday people!!! 8pm at The Rye. No table booked as they are all booked out already for the football. Plan is to be outside in the garden at the back if the weather is nice otherwise find some space inside. Then football is on at 11 for those that want to watch, but standing space only.

I'll post where we are once I arrive. For newbies who don't know me, I'm short with curly blond hair. If you would feel more comfortable taking my mobile number to find us, pm me.

Look forward to seeing you all there!

Hi guys.

Looks like we missed the latest meet, but for the record... My girlfriend and I moved to East Dulwich in October 2013, and would very much like to make some new friends in the area for social activities etc..

We are both early thirties and professionals who work in Central, and would love to meet up for drinks / events or anything in between!

    • I haven't had a rude EVRI delivery but last week I had an unexpected delivery at 10.42 pm. He didn't ring the bell or knock on the door (or rattle the letter flap) but just took a photo and put the box down.  If it hadnt been for the door camera giving us a beep we would never have known there was a parcel ready to sit there all night.
    • Sorry if I’m being slow but there’s no point in having a gate then is there?  Would have thought it was basic manners to respect someone’s property
    • I didn't say wedge it "slightly" open. I meant to wedge it fully open.
    • I have a rescue Spanish greyhound (galgo) from the charity mentioned above. You can contact Greyhounds in Need or one of the more local Kent greyhound rescue charities. They are fantastic family dogs. They do love walkies 2 or 3 times a day but they actually don't need to be walked too far and then they will happily loaf around on the sofa being very chill. They are brilliant with kids but not recommended if you own a cat as they have a strong prey drive. They also should be kept on the lead in local parks. They prefer to be around other sight-hounds (well my one does) and there are loads of local sighthound owners in Peckham, Crystal Palace etc and a very lively WhatsApp group that is brilliant if you need dog sitting as you can usually find someone to do that for free in return for you looking after the dog at a later date etc.
