Salsaboy
What Quids said - ELO & 10CC - superb back catalogue and way ahead of the crowd at the time. Peckhamgatecrasher
Am I allowed to admit that Matt Goss is a decent drummer? Shite songs though.ELO, 10CC, Dire Straits, Jethro Tull all good in my book. And let's hear it for Slade. MrBen
Did you know that the Quo have had more hit albums (32 in total) in the UK charts than any other band apart from the Rolling Stones? Also 64 hit singles and 118 million total units shifted. If by "decent" you are referring to quantity not quality they take some beating pop pickers Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22270-deeply-unfashionable-groups-who-have-a-decent-body-of-work/#findComment-527183 Share on other sites
*Bob*
Anyway, 10CC, ELO, Jethro Tull - unfashionable during their time, amongst their contemporary peers certainly - but to a certain degree they've all been rehabilitated now. Add to that the touch of obscurity they have amongst the younger generation and no doubt some of their stuff will be finding its way into Hipster playlists in halls of residence up and down the land. (ok, maybe not Jethro Tull) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22270-deeply-unfashionable-groups-who-have-a-decent-body-of-work/#findComment-527186 Share on other sites

MGolden
Abba and Dire Straits - many songs that I only have to hear the opening bars to and I am singing along - word (if not pitch) perfect.
