Co-Ed secondary schools near East Dulwich

Right, we have are planning to move after 18 very happy years in East Dulwich as we do not want our son to go to an all boy's secondary school. My daughter will be at Sydenham Girls so don't want to move too far away: does anyone know anything about the co-ed schools in Forest Hill/Sydenham/Norwood/Crystal Palace? Would be most grateful for any pointers.

I think Lewisham secondaries are mostly, if not all, single sex other than the faith schools.

Having just been through this process for the same reasons, I recommend you look at Harris Crystal Palace, the new Prendergast Vale College, Sedgehill School as well as the Charter and Kingsdale schools

I have a few friends with kids at Elm Green in Tulse Hill. They are really happy with it. Its coed and takes on distance. Also Dunraven has a good reputation, although west of the areas you mention.

Look at Harris Crystal Palace, Charter, Elmgreen and Dunraven, do your research for the catchment for the one you like best and then move as close as possible to the school. Dunraven and Elmgreen have some of their catchment in common.

Then consider Kingsdale as a back up option - it admits on lottery so it makes no difference where you live.

I don't know the schools in other directions from Sydenham Girls.
