Any suggestions for a girl's 10th birthday present?

Help! My niece is turning 10 next month and I'd like to get her something special but have no idea what 10 year old girls like these days!

Always tricky age. Arts and craft things good- John Lewis do some nice little kits. Brooches etc

Vouchers or money - most kids espoecially girls that age love being able to "choose" their own clothes/jewellery/make up etc....or primark/h&m etc vouchers...primark is great for that age (actually all ages lol)

My 10yr old daughter's aunty bought her a large box of Lush bath bombs for Christmas, which she adores. Doesn't sound that flash but check out their prices - not cheap. There were easily more than 10 items at ?3 / ?4 each. Really treasured present. House smells gorgeous each time she uses one.

I second the Lush suggestion - possibly even taking her along with some money to spend. The staff are lovely and will spend time talking to her about the products. I have an expensively addicted 11 yr old!

My 10 year old loves clothes - she particularly loves Boden (but I'm too stingy to indulge her!) Does Boden do vouchers? As mail order, it wouldn't matter where she lives. If you are choosing, avoid anything pink or girly.

For something dearer, she was thrilled with the camera she received for Christmas. Very grown up!
