Gardener wanted

Recommended Posts

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi

I have been living in ED for 15 years and had 6-7 gardeners over this time. I have never found one that really worked for me - someone who has the knowledge of plants and can do all the heavy lifting and any necessary maintenance. I have found one finally and I (albeit reluctantly as he is so good!) recommend him as he is starting a new business and is very talented. If you want details please PM me. Please note I am a private individual with a garden and have no interest in promoting him other than helping him out!

    • Re fit/sickness notes - it used to be that the patient would self certify themselves for the first week and then request a certificate from the GP.   If that’s not the case, when did it change?
    • Call ACE on:07565205844. I highly recommend ace garden service. My garden looks great. William and his colleague are superb with garden maintenance, lawns and hedges.
    • £5.25 for a pint of 5.5% ESB on cask that they have in the EDT right now doesn’t sound extortionate to me. the price of a pint of neck oil is a different matter if you want to drink that stuff.
    • While I sympathise with the staff, I also wouldn't go out of my way to support H&B - they are far from being a local, independent and I see the investment company that owns it got in various tangles re one of its founders (Russia, sanctions etc). From shopping angle, I used to like them but in recent years (no idea if that coincided with ownership changes) I feel as a brand it's lost its USP and charm. And as per other discussions, would hope the likes of Healthmatters aren't negatively impacted in these really difficult retail times.  That's not me wishing they close forthwith, in case it reads that way, just highlighting they aren't the H&B I think they were back in the day.
