You haven't actually looked at the overall stats for the country then, I take it.

Er, these were the results for all of Southwark not just ED. And UKIP got 1.4% of the vote, which was not quite double the votes for the Animal Welfare Party. So pretty crap really.

What the media are failing to mention is that EU citizens were elible to vote in these elections, so have little bearing on what the current mood of the country is regarding Brexit. I'd also suggest that many of those who stayed loyal to Labour or the Tories were not those who voted remain, otherwise they would probably have voted for Lib Dems or Greens.

But I didn't? I've lived in ED all my life, so surely my opinion counts & yours is not a reflection of ED as a whole.
