It concerns me that with the 176 becoming largely a Boris bus route, that'll also show a decrease in passenger usage with another excuse to cut the frequency even further.

Aren't there only one or two Boris buses on the 176 route? Or have these buses only been put on this route recently?

They've increased on the 176 since the 12 was cut. The London Vehicle finder site shows there are currently 12 Boris Buses, also known as LTs in the trade on the route.

The ones labelled MHV, EH or WHV are standard buses.
